Easter Inspired Gin Drinks

We’re heading into the Easter season which means shelves are filled with Hot Cross Buns and all kinds of chocolatey treats to tempt us. Though, as adults, you may be on the hunt for some alcoholic alternatives for your Easter egg hunt. Luckily, there are some tantalising craft gin cocktail recipes inspired by Easter. Paired with some gin from your local Australian gin distilleries, you can create some fun premium gin cocktails this Easter season.

 



 

Easter is all about fun for the whole family, which means it’s the perfect time to test some contemporary Easter inspired cocktails infused with fantastic local craft gin. Filled with flavour and easy to concoct, now’s the time to try these premium gin cocktails.

 

#1 – The White Rabbit

 

  • 80ml gin
  • 50ml amaretto
  • 50ml double cream
  • 1 tsp lemon curd
  • ¼ tsp vanilla paste
  • handful of ice
  • edible flowers, to serve

 

Blend together your gin, amaretto, cream, curd and vanilla paste in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake well. Strain into martini glasses, garnish and enjoy.

 

#2 – The Mini-Egg Martini

 

  • 25g Mini Chocolate Eggs 
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 25ml crème de cacao
  • 25ml Baileys
  • 50ml vodka
  • ice

 

Crush your chocolate eggs, and pour them into a small bowl. Rim your martini glass with some honey and dip it into the crushed eggs to coat. Leave in the fridge to cool. Fill your cocktail shaker with your crème de cacao, Bailey’s, vodka and ice. Shake well until cool. Strain into your rimmed glasses and serve.

 

#3 – The Clover Club

 

·      50ml Gin

·      25ml Vermouth

·      1 egg white

·      15ml lemon juice

·      15 ml Raspberry syrup or jam

Add all your ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well until blended and strain into your martini glass. Garnish with some fresh raspberries and enjoy.
