So, get ready for Christmas in a glass with these gin recipes.

#1 – A Mince Pie Martini

·      100 ml of Gin

·      100 ml Red Vermouth

·      20 ml Dark Rum

·      100g Golden Syrup

·      Cinnamon to Garnish

Rim your cocktail with a sugar and cinnamon spice mix. In a shaker, combine ice, gin, vermouth, rum and syrup. Shake well and strain into your rimmed cocktail glass.

#2 – A Very Merry Amaretto & Gin Mix

·      50 ml Gin

·      20 ml Amaretto

·      15 ml Lemon Juice

·      One dash Orange Bitters

·      1 dash Angostura Bitters

·      10 ml Syrup

Combine all ingredients with some ice into a shaker and mix well. Pour into a chilled martini glass, garnish with orange zest and enjoy.

#3 – A Gingerbread Espresso Martini

·      35 ml of Gin

·      15 ml Gingerbread Liqueur

·      10 ml Coffee Liqueur

·      5 ml Syrup

·      25 ml Espresso

·      30-40 ml Double Cream

Fill a cocktail shaker with gin, liqueurs, syrup and espresso. Shake well, then strain into a cocktail glass. Remove ice from the shaker and add the cream. Shake until frothy, then cream over the back of a teaspoon which helps it float over your drink. Sprinkle with some shaved chocolate and enjoy.

#4 – A Classic Christmas Punch

·      A Bunch of Red Grapes

·      750 ml Prosecco

·      1 Litre Cloudy Apple Juice

·      250 ml Sloe Gin

·      50 ml Herbal Liqueur (like Jägermeister)

·      1 Clementine, Sliced

·      4 Rosemary Sprigs

A day before serving, place grapes in the freezer for at least 8 to 12 hours. Chill the prosecco and apple juice in your fridge. Before you’re ready to serve, add frozen grapes, ice and remaining ingredients into a 2-3 litre punch bowl. Stir gently, then serve.

·      30 ml Gin
